Sikh beheading

Was this issue taken up during the Indo Pak dialogue on 24th?? While it is true that nothing was expected of the talks with our good neighbour in denial mode, I am not too sure if India was concerned about the human rights abuse across the border in respect of minorities. Not much has been done to prevent the atrocities against Hindus, Sikhs who are discriminated and forced to convert . Even when they are allowed to remain in their own religious fold, they are to pay Jazia a protection tax.

The world seems to think it is an internal issue or just some thing to be sorted out by the Talliban and the Pak rulers? There are serious and fundamental issues here rooted in how minorities are being treated in our neighbourhood. Why are the human rights activists keeping mum on the ways of how minorities are treated in Islamic countries? The same lot who migrate to western countries enjoy all the rights of a free world .Even there, they try to impose their own laws even in the chosen land of domicile. The case of banning of Burkas, refusal to carry passengers who carried liquor, imposing the Sharia as convenient and resorting to local laws when inconvenient etc., etc.,Every one seems to think that the moderate educated Muslims perhaps hold the key to civilised treatment. But if the treatment meted out to Kfirs(Idolators and other non believers)as described by Islam has the sanction of the Koran, then there are very serious concerns.

Why is every one sooooooooooo scared of even discussing these issues at such bilateral or multilateral meetings???
